For those along the Wasatch Front, Frary Peak is hikeable. A little crusted snow toward the top and some mud on the trail in the moister areas. The way the snowpack looks this year Frary may be the main hiking here for a while unless you buy the gas to head south. We saw about 20 people heading up as we were coming down.

My wife, two daughters and I hiked Friary Peak last Friday. We had a great time except for the little gnats were aweful. If you go make sure and take repellant because they are not just annoying they bite, leave welts and won't leave you alone. :frustrated:
It was a fun and beautiful hike and in spite of the bugs we had a good time. :2thumbs:
