probably taking photos at the barrow dump. hope the guys light on his
feet.

A buddy of mine works on a platform out of Deadhorse.

He says they have "bear alerts" where there are so many outside they are not allowed to even go out and smoke.

I plan on making a run out to Deadhorse this summer. Doubt there are any bears around that time of year though... Would be neat to see one.

I have an acquaintance that I do canyons with occasionally. The guy is a bush pilot in Alaska and flies a DC3

I assume the guy taking the photos was safe inside another vehicle.
