View Full Version : bogley on KSL (channel 5) quickvid

So this was random, I was watching KSL 5 on Friday and they showed two videos on the quickvid lists (IE. funny user-sent videos to the website that they show on their weekly show) and they showed two videos from Bogley that Sombeech submitted, I'm assumming. One, was when Sombeech went sledding in the Uintahs and his friend got major air. The second video, looked like it was in Moab or similar terrain, and the biker flew off the side of the jump and faceplanted down below and got up and smiled like nothing happened. Both both vids had the Bogley.com watermark on the video and was cool to see the site get more attention on local television. Anyone else see it?

Really? Interesting. I wonder why they showed my videos. Well, that's cool nonetheless. I wish I would've caught that.

yea it was cool to see it. The vid took up the entire screen, and the watermark had to be like 5th of the screen. haha. The other vids past the two bogley vids are boring...a little girl (like 2yrs old), just walking then sitting down (ya know..she tripped and her legs folded and she just sat indian-style). The other vid was some guy waterskiing and then had a weak crash...

but, i wonder who that was on the mtn bike that faceplanted from bogley...hmm...

But - yeah...definitely getting more attention to the site that's for sure. I blurted "no way" when I saw it and my bro asked me "what's Bogley.com?" all he said was "ohh...that's the website you tell me about all the time." "yup."



HEY that's them! haha...the bike crash is pretty funny. They just showed like 5secs from each vid though.

I can't believe they took a 320 X 240 video and showed it full screen. Bunch of square pixels jumping around?

The guy that face planted it is named Shawn. He was down riding with us that weekend. He is not a member of the bogley comunity, but I am working on that. Awesome that the videos made the news. :2thumbs:

Yeah, I caught that on KSL, too. I'd seen both videos on Bogley before, so when they popped up on KSL, I said "Hey! That's Bogley material!" :2thumbs: Right on!

I know that the local station here in Vegas will let you go in and order 30 min spots of whatever time you want. The burn it to a DVD while you wait. We use it all the time to get the news they do on the preojects were working on. I'm sure the station there in Utah would be similiar.
