'Rambles & Scrambles: The Definitive Guide to Peakbagging Around Las Vegas'
When my 'Zzyzx to Zion' Desert Southwest hiking and climbing guidebook project fell through with my former publisher, it only seemed appropriate to take the finished manuscript and photos and release the book myself. That said, the new book, 'Rambles & Scrambles: The Definitive Guide to Peakbagging Around Las Vegas', is now available! A total of 239 peaks in and around Vegas are covered, heavily featuring hiking, scrambling and climbing summit routes in Red Rock, Lake Mead, Mojave National Preserve, as well as lesser representation from Sedona, Grand Canyon National Park and Great Basin National Park. Dig it.
I'm rather excited about this project, and am particularly grateful for the assistance Mike Cressman, Shane Burrows and Deann Burnett selflessly gave me during the process.
You can look for the book at www.backcountry-explorer.com, and visit my website while you're at it.
Thanks. Comments and constructive criticism are encouraged.
Now, getting back to work on my Zion National Park book...
