Saw this in yesterday's Des News. Here's to hoping it gets held up as I have been narrowly missed recently.

Arm of law about to hit pranksters

It was a classless, inadvisable thing to do under any circumstances, but when the prankster reached out the truck window and touched Jason Bulton on the back, he had no idea what he was starting.

You know that old song about "you don't pull on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger ... ?"

You also don't mess with J.B. when he's riding his bike.

There were no injuries that resulted, no pileups and not even

When I was 12 years old and riding my bike on the side of an intersection an 18 year old reached out and smacked me in the ear. I was quick enough to get the trucks license plate number. I got home my dad called the cops and it ended up being a pretty big deal so I can relate first hand to this story.

That's nice to know that a 3 foot law is enforceable. I've had kids yelling at me before as they passed.

They felt pretty stupid when I caught up to them at the stop light.
