Escalator Ride

I just got back from DC today after being there on business for the past few days. We rode this escalator twice a day. It goes underground from Connecticut Ave (northwest DC) to the Metro subway, red line. It is soooo long and soooo high it nearly makes you dizzy going down. With a ride time of 2 minutes 30 seconds it's one of the longest in the western hemisphere.

I think the longest one in the East is London's Angel station, I've been on that one many times.
