The Haka is a Maori warrior dance. The ALL BLACKS performed the Haka in a rugby union match back in 1884 and have ever since then. Most of the time the All Blacks perform the "Ka Mate" Haka. Traditionally it is believed the

Ohio State dots the "i", Tennessee spreads the "T", the island nations have their warrior dances, and the All Blacks have the Haka. The Haka is truly one of the greatest sporting traditions.

I love the All Blacks Haka. Great tradition.

We recently had Air New Zealand start flying into Vancouver (direct flight from Aukland - 14 hours in a B777!). On the inaugural departure, we watched them prepare to take off. They approached the runway and stopped. A fellow I work with (a Kiwi) said they were doing the Haka on the flight deck. You know, I could just about see it...
