Went down for a long weekend to enjoy some warmer weather, scenery, and beers at the brewery :2thumbs: .
Didn't see another Jeep on the trails all weekend, didn't have to wait for a table at the Brewery, Zax or Hacienda, weather was dang near perfect, kept both Jeeps shiny side up - can't ask for much better.
Friday we went to Prichett Arch. Did not see another vehicle or person from the time we left pavement until the time we returned to pavement. Temperature was in the high 60's, not much wind, clear blue skies. Just a very pleasant day enjoying the veiws.

Saturday morning we started up Porcupine Rim. Big rock had fallen into the middle of the road right at the start of the trail. My buddy Steve could have driven right over it, but I didn't want to try it in my little Jeep so we moved it out of the way.

My Wife supervised the operation :2thumbs: :

Which assured a complete success :lol8: :

Didn't get too much farther up the trail though. There was still enough old crusty-crystal-sugar-crap snow that my little Jeep was really struggling in spots, and sliding-getting-tippy towards the edge. Finally got to a spot where I just couldn't get past without winching, decided to just turn around and go find another trail for the day.

Started heading back down Sand Flats, and just decided to do the north side of Fins and Things and play around for the rest of the afternoon. Turned out to be a good call - no more snow, and the only other people we saw were two couples on foot and two girls riding horses. Had the whole thing to ourselves all day. Actually, we had everything to ourselves the whole trip - we didn't see another Jeep on any of the trails the whole time. Had a blast playing around on Fins:
