Step 1. Get your mind out of the gutter (sorry suckers!).
Step 2. Distract the cat, a piece of tinsel or string works great. Barring that, try a small bird.
Step 3. Say "nice kitty" and pat his head.
Step 4. Make sure cat is still distracted with object used in step 2 (see above)
Step 5. Bend knees, with arms spread "caveman style".
Step 6. "Pucker up" while dad takes a picture to use as blackmail when you get older.
Step 7. Kiss the cat!

So this is my son just after christmas (I think 1-17?), was archiving pics and was too cute not to share. He's 17 months in this pic.
