Winter in the Swell Januray 2008

Has anyone been in there in the last few days since this storm has rolled through? Want to get in there this weekend and looking for any recent info...

I was headed to Colorado this afternoon. Spanish fork Canyon is closed due to deep snow and high winds. We also heard I-70 is closed from Green river to Silina So there must be plenty of snow. I plan to come back through the swell Friday I'll let you know.

I spoke with a guy this morning who just drove through there early. It is now re-open but they were slowing traffic while they pulled a snow plow back onto the road. You know it is bad when the plows go off. That road is always tricky in the winter. Even when the road is good all the way up Spanish Fork Canyon, right after you crest the hill and start down towards Price, there is the snow drift zone that can catch you unaware. Drive carefully. It took me 2 1/2 hours to go from downtown SLC to Provo yesterday afternoon. (I want summer. Then I can go to the Swell too.)
