She made it to the final 16, only because she was voted in by America. However she was dropped in the next cut, right after this (only from a Utah girl):

A marathon runner and the only contestant to choose a one-piece suit for what is billed as a the "fitness" portion of the competition, she answered to her elimination by dropping to the stage for a set of push-ups, to the cheers of thousands in the audience, including scores of fellow members of the Utah National Guard.

Too bad, cute girl. Kind of reminds me of Jenny McCarthy:

She is prettier than Jenny McCarthy. Can't see her figure, so no comment there. :frustrated:

She's prettier than Jenny McCarthy by a factor of about 60.

You can't blame a very attractive woman for sticking to her morals though. That took guts if you ask me.

McCarthy pales in comparison to Jill.

She made Utah proud, and I got a good laugh out of watching her get some of the other contestants to do some push-ups with her as she made her exit from the competition.

Whaddya say fellas? She needs to be recruited here to join up on Bogley.com!

And she's a single gal - Would make a great wife, too! Pretty, athletic, and knows how to handle and shoot automatic firearms! :rifle: All plus votes in my book! :2thumbs:

I was very proud of her and glad that she stuck to her morals. Since I live with my wife and three daughters (and a little boy) my wife and girls have been following her. She has a great, fun, spunky personality that people were attracted to, plus she is easy on the eyes. I was hopeful that since the Miss America pagent was supposedly looking to go in a different direction, she would have a great chance. And since when does a swimsuit competition show fitness. Miss Utah could have trashed any other girl in the competition is my bet. 10 or so marathons? That is sick. But no, same ole' pagent crap-o-la.

Hell, there are pix above. Did you see them? I couldn't find any of the swimsuit competition. Anyone else? :ne_nau: If you put Jenny McCarthy in google you'll find stuff. But that's another story.

As a native 'Kaysville ite' myself I'm dang proud of her! I'm glad she stuck to her morals and I think that winning the "People's Choice" nomination is a big deal. That means everyone else in the country can see how awesome she is- it's just the dumb and blind judges that are the idiots. I didn't realize she was actually a combat medic in Afghanastan, which meant she was flying out in helicopters to pick up the wounded while being shot at. Way to go Jill!

And on the news she looked even better in her camo/medic attire.
Good to see a woman with gusto in those pageants.

Women with gusto rock!

You know I don't think I'd even call her suit modest. I think it took alot of guts to go outside the box if you will. She even looks better than some of the other contestants.

Now when I think of modest I think of this:

Would make a great wife, too!

I'm just wondering why this is assumed? Maybe she's really selfish, snores like a bear and likes to eat her toenails??? :ne_nau: [/img]

:lol8: Those look more like drowning suits. And "eats her toenails"???? :kboom: Wow, that just burst the bubble. :haha:

These Barbies all look the same. Pretty, yes, but uninspiring. To hold the line at a one-piece bathing suit but still be part of a pageant seems bizarre. I mean, you've already sunk pretty low. What's the difference really? It's like a pole dancer refusing to dance to reggae.
