I realize that it wasn't too long ago that I was singing the praises of this bike on the "other" forum. See post below:

That being said, I now have the opportunity to upgrade to an Intense 5.5 for a killer deal. I have really like this bike for the 76 miles that it has been ridden, but sometimes you get a deal that you just don't want to pass up.
Anyway, the bike originally retailed for $2699. I purchased it for $1950 in September of last year. I upgraded the drivetrain from Shimano Deore to Sram X.9 (rear derailleur) and 9.0 shifters. I also upgraded the brakes to Avid Juicy 5s. The stock handlebar was way narrow so I put an Easton Monkey lite bar on. Lastly, I upgraded the wheelset from Mavic 117 to Mavic 221 with IRC trailbear 2.25 tires. With the upgrades I am asking $1700. The bike is still in excellent condition and is a great bike that blurs the lines between Cross-Country and All-Mountain bikes. It's got a carbon fiber rear triangle and an excellent pedaling platform. Let me know if anybody is interested.
