Have a '99 Wangler. Of course it's been lifted and a few other things. I bought it from my little brother and may have gotten in over my head mechanically speaking.
I now have a vibration coming from somewhere on the drive line (I think). I am looking for a trusted Jeep mechanic. Anyone here do work on the side? Or have suggestions? Northern Utah County would be preferable.

You need a Slip Yoke Eliminator. It's an inline shock on the driveline. This is a very common symptom.

How much lift? As Beech stated, the SYE is the best way to go. Advanced Adapters has a pretty good SYE setup and no headaches on the install.

If you don't want to spend that much, you can always do a T-case lowering kit. They're around $40.00 I guess it all depends what you're looking to do with it. If you're just running around town with it and an occasional jaunt down some trails, the lowering kit would be fine. Wheelin' it and getting all flexy, the SYE is the way to go. The SYE is a modification you'll never complain about.

It's a Rubicon Express 4.5 lift with 35" tires. I'm thinking the SYE kit sounds right, but as I said I'm in over my head mechanically. I was hoping to find an experienced friend to help me so I could learn a bit, but it's not working out and I want the problem fixed. Any trusted mechanics or shops around American Fork (or northern Utah Valley) that can do that work?
