Quite a few years ago I was doing a first ascent up a new route in Snow Canyon and up 25' above the ground on a ledge I ran across a 30' long panel of Petroglyphs. They were very well preserved and unique. I told the park management about them and roped them up and took them to see. They called in some archaeologists from back east? and they deemed them to be the oldest, most well preserved that they had seen. Now the site is off limits to anyone, but I thought I'd share a photo I took.

Thankls; The entire panel is pretty cool. Needless to say I ceased my route after discovering the panel.

Fantastic! Wow!
I've run into other ones in the park, as well. But, not like that!
Now a days, you must stay on the approved 16 trails. But, in the old days, the park was more open. Since no scrambling, I've given up on my
park pass renewals. It makes me sad. But, I understand the impact of
thousands of visitors and invasive species and fragile soils, etc.
Still, what an amazing place and so nice of you to share your picture.
That is ONE COOL Petroglyph! Cheers!
