After aquiring 14 various rifles and shotguns, I have finally picked up a handgun. After looking many places I picked up a Springfield Milspec 1911 .45 from a pawn shop in Provo for $390. The gun is in nearly new condition. Can't wait to shoot it.[/img]

1911's are great guns, born right here in Utah by Mr. John Moses Browning... timeless design :cool2:

I'd love to pick one up, seems like you got a great deal too!

Good work :2thumbs: That is a nice one. Now the problem will be keeping enough ammo around. I reloaded 2000 45's last year and maybe have 75 rounds left :haha: Should be a great shooting gun.

I don't seem to have a problem keeping ammo around, I work for the company that owns Federal, CCI, Speer, Estate, all the good suppliers. I guess it's good to be me because of the MAJOR discount on ammo :haha:

Hmmm...do you get the paltry 10% off at Sportsman's Warehouse, or, is there a bigger discount on ammo to be had??

How 'bout that stock price, eh? Speaking of large discounts...

I guess that all depends. If I go to the facility where it is made then I can pick it up at cost. :five:

Springfield 1911

Awww, that gives me the warm fuzzies, it's my first handgun.

Go shoot it. A lot.

It's made for shooting.

Get some rubber grips to save your thumbweb.
