Tanya and I are heading out this Sunday to hike to Jughandle Arch in east Zion. If you'd like to join us, we'll be meeting at the Keyhole Slot Canyon parking area at 10AM this sunday!

Looks like that might be EARLY morning Peak Bagging with Courtney again instead. :2thumbs:

Brrrr!!! It's cold here in the mornings. Snow flakes tried to fall, but I think it was just too cold and they quit!

I doubt anyone here will come, but just in case anyone is thinking about it.

Hey Bruce from Bryce! We still need to get together.

The plans will probably be discussed here...

I just have to say, I've seen two of your invites in the past and I would tag a long on some of those, but both dates I had something else going on. So perhaps in the futre.

Hopefully we will see you in the future. Yesterday was a fun exploration but we never found a way up to the peak and it was getting dark so we had no more time to look.

We usually hike every Sunday. No idea what yet though! The weather is not looking good for most things.

I took a wrong turn looking for Jug Handle and ended up in Key Hole Canyon. dang new entry is a mess. :lol8: ... and those winter gloves are the pits for trying to climb an overhanging boulder.

So you guys went straight up the middle? I presumed one would climb the treed weekness on the western side(just left of Bo in the picture)
This is why we don't hike with you guys--you'd kill us :lol8:
Nice shots(as usual)

Yeah...

We did go up the gully but went up there as well to take some shots. And then there was that detour in Keyhole. :cool2:

:giveit: I have to admit, when it said, "jug handle" my first thought was about a different type of jug. :naughty:

Looks like we are going to North Coyote Buttes if there are permits. If not there are usually walk in permits for South Coyote Buttes. I will go to the permit office on Saturday morning to see what they have, but either place is great for photography and winter hiking usually.

Tanya, I have to say that is an excellent album, with some very good compositions. Stuck here in FL, I am missing that country.

Thanks guys! I am trying to redo all my older albums with new stuff.

Me too. I am home sick again - dang headache and stomach flu. I am so bummed! At least Bo and Felicia got to go to Zion. I feel a little better right now but not good enough to leave the house. ~sob~

Thanks! It's a scenic area.

It's a fun hike to do in the winter so you can do it anytime right now.

You must get the http://www.todayindixie.com/ magazine?
