Embryos no longer in danger from stem cell research?

Have you guys heard about this? The same thing they were trying to accomplish with embryos during Stem Cell Research can now be done with skin cells.

No matter whether or not you supported the stem cell research in the beginning, this has got to be good news.

The question remains though... should the government fund it, or should we leave it to the private sector?

both sectors should fund it. both have different interests and approaches.

I'd not heard, but if it works, let's go for it. If anything it will mute the shrill whining of the anti-abortion crybabies.

Funding -- hmmm. I think the private sector can probably do a better job.
