Having been a BSA volunteer for over 20 years I have never been a fan of Professional scouters. I truly Love Scouting and have had some of the greatest experiences. I have often encouraged people to contribute directly to a local troop or pack rather than to the Council or the BSA directly.

Finally an answer to the age old question... "What would you pay to keep GAYS away from your child?"

It appears to be $214k.

I got suckered, I mean called, to do friends of scouting this year. This really makes me pissed off that I asked my neighbors for money to support six figure incomes of the higher ups in scouting. Atleast I didn't donate. I will keep donating by buying the flag on the lawn from my local troop. Scouting is such a good thing for kids. I feel like those douche bag executives are taking advantage of people.
