I spend way too much time poking around in Google Earth, and several months back I created some images from Google Earth imagery (all in Utah) that were suitable for using as your computer's desktop wallpaper. All the images are 1280x1024, and the color is untouched from the original GE imagery (though much of that I'm sure is color-enhanced). They should scale down just fine if you're using a smaller screen resolution, but for anyone with a bigger resolution, sorry. Anyhow, here's the link to the images:
