If you could give your child (or children) one gift.... What would you bestow?

Wisdom. With it, they would know how to deal with everything else.

And hopefully you do that by example everyday?

If we are talking about temporal belongings, I would wish I could buy them a house. Life would be so much more affordable if you didn't have to pay rent. You can practically work any job you really want, regardless of what it paid if your house is paid off.

Someone on my high school reunion Yahoo group once asked me what I would change if I could go back, and my answer was, "I'd smile more." With an easy smile comes so much more, so I'd give him that: the ability or willingness or desire to smile more.

Duh. Be smart. Get rich. Afford plastic surgery. The all-american dream, baby.

I asked a friend the same question and got this reply....

If I had a son, I want him to have rugged good looks, a wicked sense of humor and an awe inspiring mind. Just like his old man.

If I had a daughter, I want her to have firm breasts, a tight ass and long legs. So she can catch a guy like her old man.

If I could go back I would have worked harder to get better grades in school, had more sex with girls :getiton: and drank more alcohol. :drink: My youth was so boring. That's what I'll tell my kids.
