Well, I am about to leave to go run the river (Colorado) and it's.....SNOWING at my house (SLC). So it sucks.... :frustrated:

That makes me sick. Snow bad.

Okay, maybe not snow but cold sucks.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Maybe it'll blow down to Orem.

We drove the NEBO loop today and it was snowing VERY hard up there. It was sticking to the road and the wind was blowing strong. It was so crazy that I did not even get out to take any pics. :ne_nau:

Wow - that freaks me out. Snow in September? :ne_nau:

We might get some in December or January. Of course, it's started on some of the higher mountains. But that's where snow is for!

For about 3 hours or so it was really coming down here at Hill AFB(south end) at 4810 feet. It was sticking but now it melted off, but what do you expect in September? I can only imagine what it was like up over trappers loop or those higher elevations.

That makes me sick. Snow bad.

You're looking at it wrong, the snowshoeing section could use some more TRs. :cool2:

I've seen this "TR" thing before on this site and didn't get what it meant then, either. It's probably really obvious and I'll probably feel pretty stupid, but I might as well get it out of the way...

What does "TR" stand for? :ne_nau:

And in my defense, I should be used to the snow after 22 years in Northern Utah and 4 years in Durango, Colorado, but I still get a feeling of dread every year when the good weather starts to move out.

I'll give snow some beauty points, though. It sure is peaceful to take a walk while it's gently snowing...especially at night. It's the freezing temperatures and wind chill that ruin it for me.

I've always said that I'd love the snow if it wasn't so cold and miserable. :haha:

I'm pretty sure I'm taking my first ice fishing trip, this winter. We'll see.

WHAT.... First ice fishing trip??? i cant wait for the snow. Utah is the best place to experience all of the seasons. I don't look at winter as the end of the good weather.... i look at it as the start of another awesome season that i get to experience...

I'm glad it worked out for you, Alex.

Thanks for the clarification, Carpey.

Frogger, your outlook is inspirational...I still can't get over the whole freezing thing, though.
