One of the new features of Halo3 allows you the ability to take a screen shots or video clips from any point in a game. Then you can upload it to bungie.net via xboxlive to share with your friends or the rest of the world. You can only view the videos if you have a Halo3 and xboxlive.
I saw this pretty sweet SS today. Head shot, ricochet off a fallen grenade, to a second head shot. WOW... what luck! I would have never believed it could happen.

Lucky or a good setup? What ya think? That's the only downside to this new feature, too many people will claim their set up screenshot happened during real action. I don't mind setup shots, but just wish people would be honest about it.

I was at the Warnock Engineering building last night at the University of Utah. There in the main lobby was a Halo 3 launch party put on by the college of computer science. They had a bunch of large screens and projectors set up. They also had 19 X-boxes and Halo 3 games that had been donated to the U by Microsoft. Let me tell you it was nerd heaven.

The game auto saves film of all your games. When you're done back out to the menu, go to the theater section and choose the game you want to watch. While watching press start to see the controls menu. Or just press X to get the screenshot option up.

Well, I had all ready gotten through to stage 6 on it with my burned copy, but then went through again from the start on my legit one to get the gamerpoints on my xbox live account. A LOT of hours were spent on it today though.

I have been taking my dear sweet time with Halo3, I still have yet to beat the campaign. I have been working on it with a friend so ... we kinda have to wait for each other to be online. I figure there will not be another halo FPS for a long time if ever so I am going to take my time with everything.

Man, I think that Hayabusa Armor is ugly as hell. But congratz on all the skulls sounds like a lot of work.

I took the screen last night. We had the flag out of the base but their sniper was killing us. I made a 90 degree E-brake spin in the hog , then splattered the other teams sniper to the wall. Game saver baby!

Here's a screen from a Shotty/Snipers game, we got rocked cuz it was 3 vs. 2, this was my only redeeming moment. The Triple Kill, followed by killing their 4th player about 10 seconds later.

You can take screenshots without being connected to Xbox Live, but you can't send them to your account on Bungie.net which is how we are getting these online.

No idea man, they seem to be having a LOT of issues. Definitely something weird with the Melees. I have 182 in my stats, but 183 medals for it, plus 42 assassination Medals. It's all out of whack.

I think I have no hope of playing tonight, the wife would kill me.

And my overkill didn't count for the achievement since it was in team slayer and not in Lone Wolves.

I'm still missing my overkill, 2 for 1, Mongoose Mowdown, and Steppin Razor achievements as far as multiplayer ones go. Just can't seem to get those.

You can save videos but they are game data and not video files. So if you have xboxlive you can download, upload, and send video/game data clips to your friends. I dont have a capture card on my PC (yet).

That's gameplay, it's gorgeous. Halo 3 has a "Theatre" feature so you can go and watch any game recently played, at any angle, even through the "eyes" of other players.

I use this to find out what the hell somebody hit me with. Then you can take a screenshot of that instant.

They made the skull too strong IMO. If I'm playing oddball I can just sit around a corner and punch guys as they round the corner. I won a game of oddball 50-21-2-0. The guys with 21 and 2 got it before I got to the skull since I started across the map and got killed quickly to start. Once I got it I just hid and killed guys and went straight to 50

Yeah I came out on the losing end of one of those last night. I got shutout and the other two guys who didn't win were in single digits.

I also saw another method....in snowbound where the skull spawns you can grab it, run to the little slot in the wall and run out of bounds. That turret kills you, and the skull drops out there. Anyone who tries to get it dies and it just sits there til it resets. Well, if you're waiting on the spawn point you pick it up and run out of bounds again. No one else gets any points unless they sit on the spawn too. The game I played one guy won with 16 points when time expired. Mostly because the other idiots didn't figure out what the guy was doing and kept all killing each other and spawning way far away, so they couldn't stop him from doing it. I did my best, but kept losing 1v1 battles with the guy thanks to his sniper rifle/mauler combo.
