A friend and I took our boys (his girlfriend took her kids too) to Goblin Valley. We planned on hiking Little Wild Horse Canyon that night, but it was cloudy.
The next day the skies were clear and we did LWHC. The ladies left, and us guys went to Arches National Park.
We strolled thru the park for the rest of the afternoon. The clouds were dark, and we hunkered down in our tents for the .17 inches of rain that would fall that night.
The third day was wonderful with us doing some great hikes like Delicate Arch and the Firey Furnace.
This was my first time to ANP, and I cannot wait to return (w/o kids) to further explore the area.
We all had a great time, and my son says he likes the desert better than the mountains...
I don't know which I prefer.
