I'm thinking of working up a "Knots and such for Canyoneering"
pamphlet. Here's my quick list of knots - wondering what other
people's opinions are regarding:

1. Webbing:

End vs. Bight
Overhand
Ring Bend (Water Knot)
Overhand on a Bight
Choke using an overhand on a bight
Wrapping a rock using a choke

2. Rope:

End vs. Bight
Overhand vs. Figure 8 vs. Figure 9
Offset Overhand Bend (with OOB backup)
F8 on a bight
F8 bunny ears (double figure 8)
F9 on a bight
Alpine Butterfly

3. Hitches:

Clove Hitch, regular, triple, on a carabiner
Stone Knot (Stein Knot)
Munter or Belay Hitch / Munter-Mule
Tensionless Hitch
Friction Hitches: Prusik, Autobloc, Kleinheist, Bachman
Mariner's Hitch

4. Esoterica

Double Fisherman's
Voodoo
Beer Knot
tying rope to webbing

5. Basic Rigging

Wrap Two, Pull One - etc.
Two point anchors - self-equalizing; non-extending; equalized, non-
extending.

Thanks in advance.

That would be awesome. I can't think of any other knots, but then again I'm a noob. I carry a "pamphlet" of knots in my backpack with pictures just incase I forget how to tie one. I don't have that many in mine though.

How much would they be? Can I pre-order :haha:

I think it's an awesome idea. A while ago I was kicking around the idea of posting a sticky thread that had many of the above knots, tied step-by-step.

I think your list is pretty comprehensive, and if you published it I'd for sure purchase one. :2thumbs:
