I am putting this year's pictures on DVD, and I am looking for some music.

I would like some 'hippy-ish' type stuff, since most of it is hiking/camping.

Any suggestions?

David Grisman or Grateful Dawg is always good. PM me your email address and I can send you a few tracks

i agree with summit, for a very acoustic feel, many of the discs of 'jerry garcia & david grisman' or the david grisman quintet have great old and new songs of americana which would work well for the mood you're trying to create. another nice album you may want to consider is 'Doc and Dawg' by Doc Watson and David Grisman ... great stuff too. b

Excellent choices Stefan Bela has some great tunes. I need to hunt that Doc and Dawg album down.
I have been waiting to get the Raising Sand - the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss album, have you heard it?

I put Steve Miller Band when I did mine. Anything from the 1974 album is gold IMO. Here are some quick samples for your listening pleasure.

I love to put disco classics on my videos that aren't too energizing.
