Looks like Becker won the mayoral primaries by a healthy margin. However, I think it's gonna be a dogfight between these two candidates. Those who voted for Jenny Wilson (23%) will most likely pull for Buhler, and those who voted for Christiansen (8%) will most likely vote for Becker.
Right now, my dumb cat who won't chase mice is probably better than the current abortion of a mayor.

I don't think so. Becker and Wilson are pretty close, both in political party, and their platforms, methinks.
My thought is that the Rocky vote for Christiansen might have hurt him. That, and running as an Independant instead of a Republican.
I don't think it'll be a dog fight, but, a landslide.
I like the Becker feller. Had a chance to get to know him a tad on some planning issues (related to climbing).

Hmmm...probably shouldn't touch this one, but, I'll miss Rocky a bunch more than I miss Dee Dee. And, he's had a postive impact on SLC. We won't find a harder working mayor (bet he makes 5 bucks an hour with all the hours he puts in). Anyhoo, probably OT and belonging in the political forum...

Ahhhhhhh...you are correct. I rescind my prediction, and submit to yours. It WILL be a landslide!!!
