Hidden (Terrorist?) Messages On CL

Has anyone else heard about this? There are several Craigslist ads that if you highlight the entire page you can make out messages. I just saw this on another forum and thought I would share.

That looks like the same gibberish that shows up in spam e-mail. In e-mail, it's designed to trick spam filters, but I have no idea why somebody would post it to Craiglist. :ne_nau:

They could be testing CL spam filters (does CL have spam filters?) to see what can get through. Since the text is hidden it's unlikely to be flagged as spam as the community, but it's still readable to a bot that visits the site looking for the messages.

Yeah, I'm not quite seeing the terrorist messages, but it's probably a spamming effort.
