Naomi Peak is pretty close to home, and it being the highest peak in Cache County, it was on my list of peaks to bag.
With a few friends from work, we headed out shortly after 10:00am.
The trail is fairly steep, but not too bad. I kept looking behind me to see the view that the trail offers nearly the entire way up. The geological formations are splendid, and if you look around a bit, you may find some marine fossils.
We made it to the top in 2 1/2 hours and took in the view along with a lunch. On the way down, we couldn't believe that it was that steep going up.
This peak is definatley one I would do again, but I say that every time I bag a peak!
