i wasn't one much into forums but i got hooked on the dwr and after using it for about 1 year then they shut it down :frustrated: . i like fly-fishing, tennis, golf, hiking, and other things outside. Glad to be part of this forum.

Hopefully you post some more of those Logan river trips here as well as other places. You need to get some pics, I want to get up there and the Blacksmith fork too.

waltny the blacksmith fork is junk right now. i can catch fish out of the lower provo easier than the blacksmith. ive been there three times in the past 3 weeks and nada.

as for the logan heres a pic of the average size whitefish and browns im pulling out of there. sorry for the fuzzy pics. its harder than it looks to hold the fish and take a pic at the same time.

if you want to go to the logan sometime id be happy to go. today i just introduced my friend to the sport of fly-fishing.

I had no idea on the blacksmith fork. All Ive read is hot fishing. You every go after the native cuts in the upper Logan?

who knows maybe ive been fishing the blacksmith wrong but i talked to two other guys and they said the same thing.

as for the cutts i went for them last thursday and got about 8 in 2 hours up high. i personally like the lower better just because its 4 minutes away (ive timed it) and it holds bigger fish on average imo. plus the lower isn't so much go through 20 ft of walking to get to a hole, you can fish it all the way up. the upper is pretty though and its nice to catch something other than those dang germans.
