Funny you should mention this! I was amazed by all the new growth that was evident already even though it is late summer! The small flowers were absolutely stunning and many of the shoots of oak and other small shrubs that had escaped the intense heat made it feel in a way sort of like spring :nod:

What a shame. Thanks for sharing the pix. I know the area will recover, but it won't look the same for a long, long time.
