Subway question

I have always heard of the subway in Zion and it has always been on my hit list. I am wondering when is the best time to do this canyon? I would like to try and sqeeuze it in this year sometime, but if September or October are not good months for this trip I will wait until spring. What are your thoughts on the best month to hit the subway? :ne_nau:

It can be done in September or October. You'll want some protection from the cold water though.

There are a couple of places you are going to swim/wade through very cold water. Other than that it's like a walk in a park really. I could see it done year round.

Subway is awesome when the leaves are changing..... but wetsuits are required at that time of year for max enjoyment.

I like those cold water places much better when it's warm and you don't have to carry a wet suit.

If you are going, think about adding Das Boot! That's one of my favorites! I love the little downclimbs. Wet suit needed for this one though.
