Very surprising singer on British Idol

I heard about this clip from one of the Principals at the elementary schools I work with.
The dude has jacked up teeth (not by British standards) and just doesn't look like much until he sings.

Yeah, I saw this on another forum a month or so ago....a bit of fibbing by producers of that show. He has vocal training and had all ready been in shows etc...just working the cell phone job or whatever it was in between shows and stuff to pay some bills.
