With apologies to JP, this was last year in New Hampshire...too early to truly show New England fall color.

To paraphrase from Homer:

There's a New England?

Must be in that uninhabitable land east of the Rockies. ;)

JP, I'm not certain where it was taken. I would have guessed it was at Echo Lake, near the Cannon ski area. However, my notes say Highway 112 (Kankamagus Highway) and the next photos were in Woodstock.

Cannon Ski Area is up I-93/Rte.3 in the Franconia Notch. Profile Lake is the lake right there in the Notch, basically under where the Old Man of the Mountain used to stand. Woodstock is south of the Notch on 93 right around the area of Rte.112 (Kanc). Echo Lake is off of Rte.16 just outside of North Conway. From the Kanc heading east (Rte.112), which the Swift River follows, you would hit Rte.16 (take a right) and head south to Echo Lake.

OK, but I still don't remember where it was. The notes say Highway 112, but I can't think which lake that might be.

There's a couple of ponds off of 112. You would have to cross that Swift River. There's a couple places that have little walkway type bridges  Just trying to jog your memory :haha:

Just trying to jog your memory

You'd have better luck trying to revive Lazarus. :wallbash: :wallbash:
