Nutty Putty

A lot of you have probably done Nutty Putty, even if you're not into caving. The land owners are again talking about cementing off the entrance. More info in this thread:

Interesting, I was under the assumption that already happened??

I though the BSA, BYU and the Utah Cave grotto all expressed interest, but the winner ended up being the Utah cavers. I know they have another cave in the vicinity (mine that broke into a cave system), its been gated for 10 or so years?

EDIT: I was confusing "gating" with "cementing".

Any gate is going to be tough to enforce, 50+ years of un-obstructed public access, and vehicular access are going to let the oxygen theifs of the world all too close.
