Trivium - catching my interest

I've heard of these guys before, but I saw this video on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball, and started checking them out.

I think I saw some other videos where the singer has short hair, has that whole EMO look. I wasn't interested. It looks like he grew out of it. :2thumbs:

I love thick heavy rhythms with great solo capability. And long hair is a requirement 95% of the time. For some reason, MOST short haired guitarists have a hard time catching that heavy riff.

The first album I didn't get a kick out of but the last one they put out SCREAMED Metallica's Black Album. Cool band considering the direction music is going these days.
