Back in High School I used to have an air horn like that in my old truck.... it was lots of fun. At least if you are high school age it was fun...

Yea its border line. Bet it wouldn't be funny anymore if someone did it to him and he got hurt.
Nothing illegal about it though... heck most motorcycles are louder then that.
Well you can hear a motorcycle a mile away and the motorcycles are not preying on unaware bystanders like these dumb f*cks are. Damn bastards can't get away fast enough, lousy punks. :frustrated:
It reminds me the time I was coming home from work one day and a bunch of teenagers were throwing snowballs at cars from a side of a road. Got me so angry, I jumped out of the car and chased the bastards, caught one and the punk started crying to let him go. So ya, that episode still not funny to me, I am surprised you adults are laughing at it. :ne_nau:
I thought it was funny but I'm immature. Remind me not to piss of Alex, there is something about a Russian chasing me down and tackling me that gives me nightmares. :roflol:

I agree, but the thing is, we as a society apparently now tolerate using noise as a weapon, or there would be more folks upset about bumping car stereos.
I give people a hard time about their annoying stereos all the time, and the standard reaction is surprise, followed by indignation at me for saying something. I used to blare my tunes back in the day, as did all my buddies, but we knew we were being a-holes, we were never under the illusion that a non-a-hole would blast his tunes loud enough that everyone within a mile was forced to listen. Most folks today appear to believe that bumping their tunes does not make them a-holes, but of course it does.
This thread does remind me that I own the loudest set of airhorns out there (if my truck was a 800' long ship, these horns would be overkill), I need to install those bad boys. They're rated for 150db+, so I will not be using them as a weapon on pedestrians, just for situations when a horn blast is really, really justified, like an animal in the road.
Don't worry, y'all. They'll p!ss off some redneck and the fight will be over before it's begun.

Loud stereos and other noises as such are just inconsiderate people not giving a shit who is around them. These jerks are intentionally trying to scare the piss out of folks, not just cruise around with stereo that you can hear coming a mile away.

I guess there is a difference, the horns are assault, the loud stereo is bullying.
Both piss me off.
Off topic- Derstuka, I'm about ready to head down there for the fall boat show, come and check it out if you like, the same is true for any member of UUtah who will be in OC in mid-Sept, PM me if interested for gratis tics to the boat show at Lido Village in Newport.

You bunch of cranky SOB's.
There may be some truth to that, at least in my case.
