I don't know what happened, but on Friday both my buddy and I were feeling too *cough* sick *cough* to go to work. So, we hiked Timp, instead. I took a ton of pictures, but here are the best ones:

The goats belong in the image bar and on the homepage slide show. I agree that you should make a nice glossy 8x10 of them and enter it in the state fair.

On the descent did you take the snow field? I'm headed up there this Saturday and I'd like to slide down it instead of hiking back down to the saddle. If you didn't, did it look slidable?

Also, it's good to see that the wildflowers are still out. Here's hoping we get a little rain to perk them up.

It's slidable, but not all the way to the lake, as is ideal. Thing is drying up pretty quick. I can prolly dig out a picture when I get home from work. Didn't even tempt me, if that's any indicator...

I didn't take a picture of the snow field, but it's broken into three sections now, and it looks like it would be a pretty good scramble/drop to get to the upper most section. I didn't get close enough to really examine it, but it looks pretty dirty, so it's probably rocky, too.

Reportedly, on KSL news Saturday night they showed a picture of 90 people (!) on the summit! I'd probably avoid the trail on the weekends if you can help it.
