I think most of those cameras are pretty old

Looks like a nice, rugged camera. The only drawback I see is that its ruggedness comes at a price - no optical zoom!

Olympus has been my choice for the P/S cameras. They're pretty durable and I have no problems using them. It's with me all of the time, it's kind of hard to have my Sigma with me all of the time :haha: It's just about time for me to upgrade from my Olympus SP-350 to another one. I haven't decided on which one yet.

One thing about that 770 I don't like and others like it (Canon, Pentax, Kodak, etc.), it doesn't have a view finder. I know most, if not all, P/S users never use the viewfinder, but if that screen for some reason or another fails, your all done :haha: Even very bright sunlight sometimes washes out that screen and a viewfinder would be just what the picture ordered :haha:

no optical zoom!
And that would be another, digital zoom is for the birds :lol8:
