I know this is very short notice. Its a bit hard to plan more than a couple of days out with a new baby in the house. But everything is going good there.
Tomorrow I am going to head after (GC1446Y) Goodspeed Road.
Zeejay suggestion we could start in Alta and also get (GC6PHB) Goodspeed and Reed and (GCYR7P) Toledo.
On TOPO it looks like we can start near the old
guard station at N40,35.418,W111,38.267. Topo shows an old mining road or Trail that goes up and over the top and down to the Goodspeed and Reed. I am Guessing the Goddspeed Road takes off from this same road? My plan is to go after Goodspeed Road first then grab the others on the way back if time and energy (heat) allow.
I am planning to be in Alta near the old Guard station at 7am to try and beat the heat. If that is too early I would be ok pushing it back to 8am. But the earlier the better for me.
If there is already a hike planned somewhere else let me know if I can tag along on that instead.
