after hearing rumors of an alleged "FREE" slurpee give away at seven eleven, i decided to go take a look for myself
the approach to the doorway was long and hot
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1263/780065704_e5490b1193.jpg
i read the sign carefully, but was still skeptical, it was just to good to be true!!!
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1221/780071574_1763350f89.jpg
i entered the door and there they were, all waiting for new life and a new home
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1407/780066024_b8d544f652.jpg
i carefully selected a cup and gently pulled on the life giving lever
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1083/779190505_53519c8c24.jpg
i could hardly hold back my joy, just seconds after it...it's first breath
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1208/779190797_55e66510ff.jpg
a quick family photo, and we were on our way
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1305/779191479_fc4b722e28.jpg
here he is at the front door of his new home
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1111/779191759_b55c6563c7.jpg
we sat on the deck for a bit and decided it was a nice day for a hike
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1060/779192139_928c6f45dc.jpg
it was hot out, but he had a nice hat to keep the sun out of his face
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1070/779192577_7bec617d32.jpg
not wanting to fall, we fastened a sling to each other.
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1068/780068880_382e23e70d.jpg
we got to our first rappel and since he says he's a better climber than i,
we decided to use him as an anchor,
he kept giving me crap about my biner block though
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1115/779195405_02d9cf4e8f.jpg
shortly after the rappel, i'll be damned if we didnt find yet another bird stuck in the canyon
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1331/780069638_0530c1574c.jpg
like the hero that he is, he saved that bird!
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1011/779194039_4c55a7d094.jpg
we found a shady spot under a tree, and he sang me a song
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1288/779193409_b8968459c6.jpg
then we shared a beer,
but the little bastard kept sneaking shots from his flask
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1268/779194393_085388aae9.jpg
and YES! the light weight ended up getting sick
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1251/779194771_d33262723b.jpg
so i carried his sorry ass home and put him to bed.
nighty night little camper!

Dude, that is the best TR I've read in a while. How long did it take you? Was there any flood danger? Are campfires still banned near the Slurpee machines?
Thanks.

Marc, me and the boys hit the 7-11 on Highland and about 29th South, that looks like the same one. We all did Cherry and Coke, yum.... then my 7 year old told me later when Mom picked them up they hit it again.
Funny TR.

Yes I know it's bad form to revive a thread linked from another thread that has been dead for years, but this one is totally worth it and I will take the penalty.

By building your own boat, you can modify and add whatever customization which you may want. Make prime manifestations of your creativity by incorporating your own design to your own boat. There will be no pressure as to what designs you are to put. Feel free, it's yours. Your imagination is the limit. Make your boat show who you really are; apply designs that you really want; and don't just rely on the designs that can be offered by some craftsmen.
