Be thankful that we are in a state economic bliss and financial stability. This is how much people in poverty an financial ruin care about the environment. There are some of us who believe economic crisis and financial ruin are an acceptable sacrifice for making extreme environmental regulations and changes to our society. For those people I say take a good look at this river, and ask your self is it extreme really worth it? I believe changing our ways to a more greener kind of life is crucial. But it must be gradual.

I've seen Newport Beach Harbor look just like that after big storms, so if you time it right, you don't have to go to Java to see such a nightmare.

Java is just being us 50 years ago, how long has it been since a river in Ohio caught on fire?
