That is the homepage for the "Timpanogos Emergency Response Team"

TRAIL CONDITIONS: Aspen Grove side: Some snow on trail to Emerald Lake. Dangerous snow between Emerald Lake and Timponogos Basin on trail above cliffs. Snow below Saddle. Temperature at Emerald Lake: 65 - 75. Emerald Lake half frozen. June 23, 2007 (report from Jared Johnson, TERT Team Leader)

Careful in the Danger area. We did it two years ago with the same conditions and it was fine in the day while the snow was soft. But after the sun went down the the snow pack set up and it was pretty scary in a few spots on the way down. Have fun and welcome to the site :2thumbs:

Thanks for the link, most appreciated. I live in Seattle where I hang out on http://www.nwhikers.net (which looks to use almost exactly the same software as this site). So I don't know if I'll be around much.... but I'll post a trip report. :)
