Cute, huh?
Happened across the street from Cafe Rio around 2:00 PM on June 28. An 8-year old kid riding his bike was the only witness, and the guy tried to run him over. I thought he was stretching the truth a little, but sure enough, you could see where the guy jumped the curb and drove up on the grass. The kid and another person that saw the guy driving away said it was a black SUV.
If you have any info let me know.

I love how some people's integrity is worth less than a couple of hundred bucks. Man up and make your mistakes right.
Sorry bout the hassle man. People suck.

That's my only redemption! Glad someone likes it, cracks me up everytime and I know it's there!
Let us know if you get any of this worked out. That really sucks. Looks like a nice Subaru too (right?)

guy gashing the right side of my rear bumper
First time I read this, I read "gay bashing the right side of my rear bumper". I need to go back to school for some reading comprehension skills. :ne_nau:

He probably had more to loose then money....
Sucks how the law in this land is so lax that people feel it is always better to run and chance getting caught.
Whats the penalty vs the chance of getting caught for hit and run?
When I lived in California my Dad got hit by a guy that refused to show ID and was just going to leave. He got on the phone and called 911. The dispatch said they could not send help unless someone was hurt, no officer. But that the guy had to show ID or they would send a cop, and it would be a hit and run ticket too.
The guy shuffled threw 10 ids and picked one to give to my dad. Our insurance footed the bill. Our rate went up.

That's F'ed! I can't believe he went for broke and tried to run over the 8-yr-old. Ya, like hit and run isn't bad enough, he's gotta up the ante and go for vehicular homicide.
Jackass!
