Over 450 Bonneville Cutthroat Trout were found dead in Parley's Creek from the Parley's Nature Preserve down to Sugarhouse Park. State officials suspect that someone dumped a chemical into the water, but they're still waiting on tests.
In the meantime it's probably a good idea to keep your dogs out of the creek if you go down into the Parley's off-leash area.
