$8 a person June 29th and 30th at Sundance.
Well worth it, Timp looks great under a full moon.

Wow... only $8? Dang -- 'Basin charges $12 for theirs, IIRC.

I bet Timp does look awesome on a moonlit night... might have to think about that one. Only prob is I spend another $20 on gas getting down there from Roy, so it's actually more expensive in the end. :haha:

Thanks for the heads-up!

I'll be there man, thanks for another great tip!

I got myself the reservations at the Foundary Grill at 8pm and going to hit the lift by about 9:30pm. Do people just go up the lift, take pictures and come down or do people actually hike in the moonlight?

BTW, is Foundary Grill in the same parking lot as the ski lift? I don't know Sundance that well.... :ne_nau:

The Grill is on the far end of the resort from the entrance so just skip that first parking lot a your are good. The BBQ Beef Brisket Quesadilla is so good.

They wont let you off the lift (they would not let us off last year) so its an up around and down thing.. Bears eat people in the dark I guess.

Summit, I went last night with my wife, had a blast! Had a great dinner at the grill, expensive as hell, but it was totally worth it, great food!

The ride was very nice, I forgot my fleece and thought I'd freeze my ass off, but it was actually warmer on the lift than the Sundace base camp.

Thanks for another great recommendation dude :2thumbs: Keep em coming!

I never made it up... Glad you had a good time.

Sundance Outdoor Film Festival starts soon...Next week I think. Every Wednesday night they have a free movie on the big screen at the outdoor theater.

Also the Utah Symphony (http://www.utahsymphony.org/event.php)is playing in outdoor theater July 7th. I much as I figured I would hate the symphony... I really have enjoyed it the last few times we have gone.
