My buddy did this going 5mph down a steep hill on his XC bike. He went over the bars and got the derailleur in the mouth. It messed his teeth up and knocked one out.

Ouch that musta hurt! How many stitches? Tell him to wear a full face, or get rid of that derailuer (singlespeed...hint, hint). :haha: Tucker posted a nasty photo of his buddy the other day from just wearing a XC helmet....I will say though, any helmet is better than none. Also, I have noticed so many people who improperly adjust/wear their XC helmet. It is set back so much, and so loose sometimes that a hit to the ground will push it back off of their head, and let their skull take the impact.
