Mueller Park, in the Dark. Well, kind of.

11 of us showed, a good sized group. :2thumbs: We all met a few new faces.

Some of us just rode to the Big Rock, some up to Rudy's Flats, and some in between.

So how dark was it when you got off the hill? Wade and I had a hard time seeing towards the end but we were thinking (laughing) about you guys and how many of you had lamps. :haha:

It was pretty dark. After you guys took off, I was waiting at the Big Rock for another 10 minutes.

We had a few close calls. It was just a blur of brown for the trail, and blurry green on the sides.

This was my first ride with the UUTAH group! It was fun to finally get a ride in with you. Seem's like you guys have a lot of fun. Hopefully I will be able to get more rides in with you guys. Didn't make it past the Rock, but it was still a great ride. It was about 8:15 when I got to the trail head, so it was still light for the small group that went down Bomber Alley (just 3 of us). "the voice" had a helmet cam, so there should be some good footage. FUN TIMES!

We went up to the flat and one of us had a flat. After repairing it, we bombed nonstop. :five: It was starting to get a little dark in the lower section, but its all GOOD! :ride:

I think we all took the same pics.... :haha: So 'Beech, did the pics come out of the two Moose we ran into? I was prepared to bomb down the trail...I have learned to not contend with moose! :eek2:

Great ride, I love that upper section of trail coming from Rudy's Flat. Although it was tough to see bombing down through the trees, it made for one heck of a ride. I think I was just watching the back tire of the bike in front of me because I couldn't see the trail. :2thumbs:

Climbing up past the Big Rock was a lot easier than I had remembered. I just took my time going to Rudy's Flats because I was expecting the boys to bomb back down at any minute.

I think it's easier than going to the Rock.

Yea you suck!! I was so tired and when glasscutter stopped right in front of me without warning..........., I actually meant to do that so I could rest for a few minutes. See is was planned. :haha:

I was editing the video, and saw 2 faded white pixels take a dive in that dark, blurry footage. :lol8: Mark and I had no idea you went down right there.

I wish we had headed downhill about 15 minutes earlier, I'm bummed about the dark footage on the reverse angle.

I originally had the camera angle just right, but the darker it got, I found myself lifting my head up, trying to see ahead of me, tilting the camera further down.

We were flying on that last 3 miles, too. I'm bummed it didn't show up that great.

We seem to have some play back issues with IE7. :frustrated:

Best we can figure out is may be IE7, Try firefox or IE6 if you have it.

Yea, landings like that remind you the body is not 20 any more, but the mind is.

I was wondering if there was supposed to be a board on the other side?
I did the drop on Tuesday with less speed just fine.
Also when I picked myself up I remember seeing a board off to the side. Think it was about 12 x 24.

Not sure if the body and the bike will be ready for Tuesday's ride.
Planning on dropping the bike off at Go-Ride on Monday.
They are usually 3 to 4 days out.
Planning on lunch on the 21'st for sure.

Make sure you click on the icon in the upper left-hand corner. Took me a couple of searches to figure out how to start the video. Also, give it some time to load.

Man, I've never ridden Mueller Park, but it's on my must-do list for the summer. Looks like a lot of fun.
