there was a fella a few years back in great smoky mtn np that saw a bear take down a deer and ran up to it, pulled it off the deer, and actually drove it away. :eek2: he was charged w/ some sort of crime and had to pay a fine. lucky for him he was in gsmnp, not yellowstone.

She was actually going out to get a little venison for dinner. Possibly, she meant to invite the bear in for dinner.

Its kind of funny how in Disney movies they don't tell you that the bear that is hanging out with the deer as a forest friend, does this sort of thing in real life and................... to this family trama.................. to this bear, just like going to mcdonalds. Gutted him with one swipe, yikes.

Also, how greusom does eaten alive sound when in fact, bears kill their animal before eating them.
