Oh man! if I hadn't committed to the annual Blue mountain redneck camp-out I would be in for some ski resort action. sounds like a ball :2thumbs:

I'd love to come down but Ive put so many miles on the last week that I better stay home...Casper drive twice...just got back today...
Hopefully the rain will stay away and I wont have a mud ride!

here are a few pics from the saturday ride at Currant Creek Dude Ranch, a working ranch in business since the turn of the century. The area is beautiful....not alot of foresty type trees but lots of green in the desert right now. This ranch is a great example of what can happen when landowners are willing to work with mountain bikers/trailbuilders and BLM. They have mapped and marked 200 miles of biketrail worthy stuff and some of it, which I rode 12 or so miles of follows the Cherokee Trail. I ended up riding 24 miles although the loop trail is just under 20 miles and a 2330 ft elevation gain. Coordinates (UTM) are 12 0634111E 45 66285N .

Oh HELL no! - although, I DID think about getting shuttled up to the top with it and bombing down! I took my GT Idrive so I could climb, which was good 'cause I passed the downhill course turn at about mile 18 (going too fast to see the cairn) and that's when I turned a 20 mile course into a 24-5 miler loop
