Shenanigans is awesome! Pretty cool seeing it as wet as it was.

hey Dan,
so IIRC your shooting w/ a D5, what seems to be your lens of choice?

you consistently yield nice DOF, you shooting w/ a 2.8/24-70?

Actually, these are a little different. Because it was so wet and tight, I couldn't get my 5D in there, I took these on a little panasonic P&S with a wide angle lens (about 28mm). With my 5D, I love the 17-40, because I'm a sucker for superwide. When it gets that wide, the DOF stays pretty sharp no matter what aperture your at. Of course, on a P&S, it pretty much doesn't matter what you do, the chip is so small it's all gonna be in focus.

If I am going for shallow DOF, I like the 24-70 on the wide end, or a 35mm prime at f2. I carry a 70-200 just in case, but it rarely comes out. I'm a wide angle junkie.
